IMI Master Technician Status

Lakeside Garage have an IMI (The Institute of the Motor Industry) Master Technician.

Our company Director, Jay Wheatley, is classed within the top 3% of the technicians in the country having gained the coveted qualification of Master Technician.  However it does not stop there! Within the top 3%, most of the Master Technicians are dealer trained, and so Master Technicians of a single brand, while Jay has reached an even more select group by being an all brand Master Technician. This involved a training program and then assessed practical exams in fault finding and diagnosis across a range of cars, teaching apprentice technicians and customer service.
