Following the performance re-map and subsequent increase in bhp, there was an immediate improvement in the performance of the car; the acceleration is much more responsive; there is an appreciable increase in miles per gallon – noticeable even at this early stage [only on my second tankful since the upgrade], having covered 800 miles, mainly on the motorways.The car is much more enjoyable to drive; it reaches the higher speeds with seemingly greater ease and at lower rpm too. Overtaking is done with greater confidence, secure in the knowledge there is greater power beneath your foot and, above all of these points, it is great fun to drive. Just had my Audi Q5 TDI remapped. I have not long owned the car and was not sure if I actually liked it. What a difference the re-mapping has made. You can feel the extra power in lower and higher gears, it’s like having a new car. Well worth the money.

I was advised -recommended by my camper-van supplier Hillside Leisure Derby to use Celtic product for remapping our 102 VW. Celtic head office further recommended Lakeside garage as the more experienced – tooled up agent suitably close to Harrow Nth West London.

On contacting Lakeside i was politely and professionally engaged; i explained my need and was given every attention and time to understand the aspects of remapping. A “technical callback” was also arranged so that i had a further in-depth explanation. This was a prompt and very informative call. I was given “honest” feedback and genuine explanation as to what was best for me.

I felt totally comfortable with the service representation as being honest; committed to ensuring customers knew what they were getting; a passionate service displayed from Lakeside.

All sounds good over the phone, however, in reality face 2 face would be the test.

I was not let down – the expectation set from the conversation was surpassed. I was met with genuine pleasure and passion for customer engagement on not only general conversation but also about the outcome and personal experience of remapping. I felt totally at ease and confident of the service.

In July I sent it in for an MOT, service and investigation of an oil leak. The MOT didn’t end very well at all, to the point where it failed and was clearly explained that given the endemic issues it wasn’t worth investing any more money into the car. The car was returned to me with the majority of expenses waived.  

I think the biggest thing I appreciated from both visits is the honesty and upfront nature, I’m sure on both occasions other garages would have found an opportunity to exploit, but I didn’t feel like I was swindled in any way. Top props to Ashley especially for explaining everything clearly to someone who’s not a car nut, he’s a real asset as far as I’m concerned.

My son’s Punto had an airbag warning light which had been taken to 3 different garages who were not able to diagnose the fault.

Your team identified the problem and fixed it within an hour! As the MOT was due the following week, your team were able to put the car in for it’s MOT on the same day without any notice.  The guys worked tirelessly to make sure issues with the car were fixed and the car passed its MOT and could be collected on the same day. 

I was extremely impressed with the communication and speed of the service and was amazed that they could fix the initial airbag warning problem, when no other mechanic had been able to! I would highly recommend your services.

The reception team where friendly and polite, also very honest and only recommended work required, at no time did they try to force us to have unnecessary jobs carried out. Did a great job at servicing my BMW 3 series. Perfect service. Collected car from the workplace, kept me posted on the progress and delivered the car back in time.

Coincidentally after the service, my reversing light failed and an indicator appeared on the dashboard. Although it had nothing to do with the service, when I called them and explained the situation, they not only looked at my car but also fitted a new bulb. All for free even though it was nothing to do with the service.

Honest, polite, and friendly bunch of guys. Dealer level customer service at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Feedback is positive from me.  I had the battery changed on my car and the whole time from calling for quote to leaving with new battery went smoothly.  As always, yourself and Daryl are always very pleasant to chat with & helpful on advice.
We (me & the kids) find it particularly useful that when it’s MOT time we can have our car collected and returned so it doesn’t disrupt our day.
